JSIKTI: Journal of Information Systems and Applied Computer Technology Indonesia, Volume 8 Number 4 (June 2026) presents a collection of applied research in information systems, educational technology, image processing, and agricultural informatics contributed by researchers from the Institut Bisnis dan Teknologi Indonesia (INSTIKI), Okayama University (Japan), and National Taiwan University of Science and Technology (NTUST). This issue demonstrates collaborative scientific contributions that address practical challenges in financial governance, early childhood education, cultural preservation, and agricultural sustainability through modern computational approaches.
The published studies include the development of accrual-based accounting information systems for financial compliance monitoring and performance measurement, designed to enhance organizational accountability and decision-making efficiency. In the field of educational technology, this issue presents a digital puppetry-based learning media design for early childhood education, focusing on plant and animal life concepts to create engaging and interactive learning experiences. Furthermore, this issue features advanced computational research on classifying Indonesian batik motifs by region using the Swin Small Transformer architecture, as well as an enhanced rice disease classification model that integrates CLAHE and transfer learning techniques on leaf image data to support precision agriculture.
This issue reflects a multidisciplinary integration of information systems, computer vision, machine learning, and educational technology. It reinforces JSIKTI's commitment to publishing impactful, solution-oriented, and data-driven research that contributes to technological advancement, academic collaboration, and practical innovation in Indonesia and the international research community.
