
JSIKTI: Journal of Information Systems and Applied Computer Technology Indonesia, Volume 5 Number 1 (September 2022) presents a collection of applied computing research exclusively contributed by STMIK STIKOM Indonesia. This issue focuses on predictive modeling, data classification, and intelligent systems applied to sales analytics and agricultural pest distribution forecasting.
The articles include an SVM-based sales prediction analysis for PT. Terang Abadi Raya, a K-Nearest Neighbor classification model for product sales data, and an RNN time-series model predicting the distribution area of the Wareng pest on rice crops. Additionally, the issue features research on Backpropagation Neural Network–based predictions of rat pest spread on rice plants, as well as an LSTM-based forecasting model for rice pest distribution in Buleleng.
Through these studies, this issue demonstrates STMIK STIKOM Indonesia’s strong commitment to advancing machine learning applications in real-world scenarios, particularly in agriculture and business analytics. The volume reflects JSIKTI’s mission to support practical, data-driven innovations in information systems and applied computational intelligence across various sectors in Indonesia.
